When you first start the PC you’ll see some white writing on the screen, this is the BIOS (or motherboard startup) sequence.

You’ll need to make sure your PC is set to boot from a USB Drive, and this is a little complex as you need to enter the motherboard’s BIOS and check or change a setting, and these vary from one PC to another. I have instructions on how to do this on this link. To do this you will need to create a USB Recovery Drive, which you can do on another Windows 10 PC if you haven’t created one before. It is possible though to roll back changes made to the PC and get it working again. It’s possible that something such as a hardware driver or Windows Update has caused the system to become unstable. If you find that your PC isn’t booting to the desktop this doesn’t mean that it’s unrecoverable.
